A MISSION BLOG
W.O.E. Mission Project
In 2004, Women of Excellence was born, the birth-child of Laverna Moorer. She had a mission before her, addressing the need for committed services under one umbrella for women recovering from the prison system, substance abuse, domestic violence, and homelessness. With this valued intent set in place to bridge the gap in services, skills, and education using an integrated system of care, Women of Excellence is posed to use future solutions now. Women of Excellence, Inc. is a non-profit 501c(3) community-based organization to be located in Griffin, Georgia. They have a mission that warrants support of both community leaders and private citizens. WOE’s mission is to foster stability in the lives of formerly incarcerated women, homeless women, and abused women, as well as their children.
Women of Excellence is made up of people just like you. We're your mothers, co-workers, aunts, sisters, teachers, and wives in your homes, down the street and around the corner, who are getting involved in our community and strengthening fellow women across the state of Georgia. Join the WOE mission to continue our efforts to provide information and opportunities to the women and children of this vibrant Georgia state. We can all make an even better world by building up the very foundation that creates the future for tomorrow.
Thank you again for your support.
